Salford viewed from Church Street - c1940

Taken from approximately the same position as the photo in the previous posting, but a couple of decades later, this shot is looking into Salford from Church Street.

I'm not certain if the '1941' printed on the left of the image is the actual year, but judging by the clothes worn, particularly the gent in the centre and the lady on the right, it does look to be about that era (coming out of the 1930's and into the 1940's).
